Christopher James "CJ" Mitchum is an original resident of Wayward Pines and the town's historian. He is known as 'The Duster'.
History[]
Every 20 years, CJ would wake up from his sleep to help the town. He is one of Pilcher's protégés.
While CJ was in one of his greenhouses, Mario came in to inform him the rebellion was over. When he didn't show any emotion, Mario asked him why he wasn't happy about the stop to the rebels, which he sarcastically answered that he was. Then Mario informed him that Jason Higgins wanted to harvest the crops outside the fence. With this, he left with Mario to talk to Jason at the mountain.
